About Ed: I have traveling to the Panama since 2004. I have had the opportunity to lead teams to various communities outside of Panama City, in the Darien Jungle, as well as to several San Blas/Kuna Islands.
The Work
Location: Kuna Speaking Communities
Bibles – Help to supply Bibles to churches and people of various communities. The complete Kuna Bible was just released to in the fall of 2015.
Location: Darien Jungle
Ikandi one of the largest Kuna communities in the Darien Jungle (and possible all of Panama)
Rebuilding Fire - Continuing to help as a community rebuilds after a fire that destroyed approximately 90% of the village.
Water - They have been without running water for over year. The aqueduct stopped working. Raising money to continue to supply water filters so that members of the community can filter the lake and river water before drinking it.
Feeding the Kids – 200-400 kids are invited to attend a Bible study which is followed by a meal. They attend a Bible study (VBS style) and then they are fedNutrition is definitely a concern among the children of Ikandi.
Clothing & Supplies – A number of the families are in need of traditional Kuna clothing, cooking utensils, and so much more especially after the fire of 2015.
Teaching English in the community school
Help with teaching of Bible study when needed.

There are numerous churches/pastors that I have had the opportunity to work with within Kuna Yala.
